I love that when I create a scrapbook page, I tell stories and capture moments I would
otherwise forget. Lots of photos that I've taken in the past are not so meaningful now.
I don't really remember the details of them and they're certainly not going to tell an
interesting story to my children, let alone my grandchildren or greatgrandchildren.
One of the most satisfying and enjoyable aspects of scrapbooking to me is being able to
surround myself with beautiful art that others have created. I am able to explore ways of using it that bring me even greater joy. I've never been good at painting, etching, pottery, or other manipulative arts. And while I'm good at knitting and other assembly type crafts, those take so long to complete that I don't experience the daily satisfaction of having created something lasting. My joy at completing those projects is often short lived. I'm eager to move on to a new project. With my scrapbook pages, I know that each day I've shared a wonderful story or captured a moment in time about our family.
It is only when I began digital scrapbooking that I actually was able to begin an album about me.
I'm an amazing woman! I make thoughtful choices! And others will know this as they learn about me, my husband and my children through my scrapbooking . Each day, I embrace scrapbooking as an opportunity for me to learn, explore, experience and GROW!
New techinique-blending. All the fonts are new to me too.
